Certainty's firewall management offering can be purchased as either a turnkey package or a custom service package. The turnkey package, developed by Certainty's team of senior security architects, includes all requisite hardware and firewall software. It comprises the following management services: initial site assessment; firewall installation; operational documentation; ongoing firewall software and hardware maintenance, including software patches and upgrades; monthly log reporting; comprehensive 24x7 system health monitoring; disaster recovery and up to five configuration changes per week.

The turnkey package features five different technology configuration options designed to meet the varying bandwidth and security needs of all types of Internet businesses. These technology choices range from a Dual Cisco PIX 515 system to a Dual Sun E220R, 2CPU system running Gauntlet. The cost of the package is determined by the type of technology selected by the customer. Pricing starts at $3,400 per month.

Certainty's custom service package involves the management of a customer's pre-existing hardware and firewall software, or the evaluation, design, provisioning and management of firewall systems not covered under its turnkey package. The custom service package offers the same management services as the turnkey package, as well as some additional optional features.

The price of the custom service package is variable, depending on the technologies employed and the level of customization required.
